What exactly does “Bloom Burst Reimagined” mean? It means fresh eye-catching branding and more opportunities for wellness, inspiration and support coming to you weekly via Bloom Burst! We have been busy working on fresh streamlined branding, wellness packages, and an updated website to support your overall wellness, stay tuned as we roll out weekly recorded guided meditations and yoga videos. I founded Bloom Burst to help my clients feel and look their best, and I am now, more than ever, committed to this mission. We are deep into 2020 and it has been one h*ll of a year with a global pandemic, quarantine, police brutality and racial inequality in the U.S., and the upcoming presidential election our nervous systems are being constantly bombarded with bad news. Geez just typing all of the deep, dark issues we are collectively working through makes me feel heavy and tired!
Let’s cut to the cold hard facts here about our health: Chronic stress, anxiety, and physical inactivity have become widespread societal problems due to a perceived lack of time and a modern sedentary lifestyle. Did you know that as many as 50 million Americans are living sedentary lives putting them at an increased risk of chronic health issues? We are talking lifestyle diseases that we as individuals have control over, once we have the knowledge and the will power. I have seen first hand how poor health, addiction and a consistent sedentary lifestyle can take a toll on physical and mental health.
As a certified yoga instructor, health coach and Reiki practitioner I focus on individualized whole-body wellness, helping clients look and feel their best through integrating healthy lifestyle changes, mindful movement, and wellness routines into their daily lives. It is a common misconception that in order to be healthy we must carve out hours every day to workout, meal prep, meditate, etc. Overwhelmed by both personal and professional obligations it is no wonder that people get stuck in a cycle of unhealthy eating and lack the motivation for daily movement and self care.
Want to know a secret? There is no cure all, no “one size fits all” roadmap to be the happiest and healthiest version of you. It will take work, dedication and the willingness to make changes, but it won’t be as hard or as big as you think. Small daily changes turn into habits, it can begin with a 10-minute walk and a 3-minute meditation or adding a fresh fruit or veggie to every meal. It is as simple as that! These seemingly small changes add up in a big way changing your mindset and opening the gateway for healthy habits. Taking care of your mind and body is the best investment you can make for yourself and for your loved ones!
