Happy 2022! As we enter into a new year it is a natural time to reflect, to shift into healthier habits and to prioritize self-care. Health and wellness rituals and routines are a lifelong practice, there is no finish line as we strive to live our healthiest lives. Remember that we want to find activities that are joyful when it comes to movement, find what feels good to you and commit to moving your body at least 5X per week. Another important health tip is to fuel your body and mind with nutrient dense foods, and to eliminate or greatly cut back on processed foods! Whole, fresh, foods are the best fuel to achieve optimal health. Commit to making at least 1 change today to your routine and stick with this change and eventually it will be a natural habit. Adding fresh fruits and veggies to each meal is an easy way to shift eating habits and to ensure that you are getting the proper nutrition!

Remember it is all about “Progress, not perfection” as you move forward in your wellness journey!
